Missing his caddie from such a short distance says it all about his game. If he was on he'd taken him clean out from there and the sign boy as well.

 

We've all done it. Admit it!

 

I can honestly say that in the 10 years I've played golf, I have NEVER thrown a club. Why would you assume that we've all done it? Not everyone has that kind of temperament when experiencing frustration.

from personal experience a toss with the 905r was the longest.

I think you guys really need to calm down on this, or at least some of you do. Big deal if he throw a club. I don't think its appropriate because he is a grown man playing professional golf, but he is human. And most of us have thrown a club at one time or another, I'll be the first to admit I have. And if anything he has the right to throw a club and get upset from time to time because he actually has something on the line like 100s of thousands of dollars. I don't think he should have thrown it but some of you need to not get so uptight that he made a mistake.

no reason to throw clubs in golf- keep it all in perspective- its a game that we are privileged to be playing, and for those lucky enough to get paid to play..........well, enough said.

I really don't think people have too much of an issue that he threw a club (it can happen), but the big deal to me is WHERE he threw it. He threw it AT a bag where people were nearby. It's not like he threw it at the ground by him in disgust, he threw it where it could've hurt someone.

Man...I'd heard about the club toss, but I had no idea is was that bad. He nearly took out the caddie. Ernie is obviously not schooled in the art of clubthrowing. Rule #1: It''s okay to throw a club as long as you don't put yourself or others in danger.

absolutely terrible, disgusting, atrocious...in actual fact, i couldn't care less. ernie is a legend, he threw a club...oh no, somebody call 911. everyone needs to grow up and let it go.

Again, it's not the fact that he threw a club, but that he almost hit his caddie. I don't know why some of you aren't capable of distinguishing the difference... ;)
