Courses in Montreal area?

I am making a trip over the pond in 3 weeks or so to visit a friend who has taken root in Montreal, i am spending 2 weeks or so over there and the plan is golf golf golf and some more golf. I'm not sure of where he plays on the regular but if any of you have any advice on some nice courses it'd be appreciated. Cost isn't really a factor, just want to make sure that we play the better courses and not miss out on any.

Are you a member at a private club already? If so, consider having your GM or Pro call over to a few of the private tracks around there. Some are very exclusive, but it never hurts to ask. Try Royal Montreal, Beaconsfield, Summerlea (Dorion) and Kanawaki. I've played all of them except for Kanawaki - they're all superb but private.

I played a qualifying event at Atlantide (30 minutes west of downtown and right near Summerlea) and it was good too. Greens were great for a muni.

Thanks mmack067, I am a member of a private club already back in Italy but I don't have much of a relationship with the GM to be honest, maybe I'll call ahead and see what they can do
