Anyone have some longterm use with this shaft? I can read the spec sheet all day long, just want to hear some real world feedback...

I have a 73 and played it on and off a couple of seasons. It works a heck of a lot better in the 3 wood for me. Driver it was all over the place, and did not launch nearly like the profiles might lead you to believe. I'd really like to try the alpha and K, but again I have the 73X in 3 metal and it is very good for me. Feel is fantastic. If you are playing it in driver, and you swing 108 and up, I would tip it an inch.

I've got an FT Tour fitted with a Fubuki Tour 63 in stiff, tipped 1", currently gathering dust.

Although the shaft fees great, it sends the ball in to orbit... which is exactly what I'm not looking for as I already hit it high enough. The marketing blurb says it's supposed to be a mid launch, low spin shaft, but in my hands at least it's neither.

Looks cool though...

The Titleist shaft matrix shows the Tour 73 just slightly higher launch than the Kai'li but I've always heard that the Fubuki's launch the ball straight up

Depends on the head you put it in. Put it in a low launch head and you have a great combo. I got mine in a J40 and dig it. however i will admit that i dont hit it 320 or 280

Thanks for some real world input. I have had another person tell me they hit it very high with some midish spin rates. I have a razor fit 9.5 t/a head and was considering this shaft. As i found a sweet deal on one. Might just go back to the trusty BB63...Thanks for the info.

I've hit the Mizuno made for version which is pretty similar most of the summer in a mp630. As mentioned earlier if paired with a lowish head like the mp630, it can be pretty good. I've hit it in places I've never hit the ball before, both good and bad. Ultimately for me my bad ones with it are a little too bad and am about to move on to something different to play around with. But take that for what it's worth, I've never been accused of being the straightest driver of the ball. Day in day out the old 510tp/speeder keeps me in play better.

I was playing a 73X in my R11 9* tipped 1/2". I thought it was a little on the heavy side, so I just installed a 63X tipped half an inch. I need to play with the weights to get the swingweight up. As of right now it's playing stiffer than the 73X mainly due to the swingweight dropping by 3 points. I play the FCT in the lower position so it's at 8* right now. Ball flight is pretty good for me, I'd say it's a high launching shaft and not mid.
