VR Tour vs Pro

Had a VR tour driver that I regret giving up but it just had too much shaft for me. Am thinking of picking up another one and throwing a Kai'li pullout I have in it. There are some good deals on the Pro model and I wanted to know what you all thought of the Pro vs the Tour model.

Tour hands down. 420cc's of pure power. Possibly my favorite driver of all time. GREAT look at address with the small head, feel is the same as anything else to me but you can definitely feel the compression channel on a well struck hit. I keep one as my back up driver and won't ever get rid of it. At the cheap price they are now I wouldn't pass it up.

well, if you liked the vr tour then i would try the vr pro limited. but if cost is a major factor and you dont like the limited then i would go with the vr tour

[/quote]Surfing the BAY, it seems like either one can be had for a pretty cheap price, so money is not a factor. VR Tour was a low spin monster, which was good for me because I had too much spin with my drivers and it really helped out. I could not keep the ball from going right though because the shaft was too strong for me.I prefer a square to open face and the shape fit my eye. Was wondering about the playing characteristics of the Pro since the prices were pretty comparable.

I bought a 10.5 VR Tour and put a stiff steel shaft in it. It is freaking awesome! Can't tell any distance loss either.

Love my VR Tour! Stock PX shaft is great, too, although I switched to a ProLaunch Platinum. I had a tough time finding the right loft. I started with an 8.5 replicating a Titleist I had and upped it to a 9.5 before finally settling on a 10.5 The nice thing is that you can buy, play and trade on Ebay real easily thanks to the prices. Stupid, stupid deal.

I have the Pro, simply because at the time it was a bit cheaper. I have the 6.0 in mine, it may be a bit too stiff for me but I'm liking it. I had heard rumors that the VR Tour had an actual project X , where as the VR Pro had a "made for" project x shaft. The pro is probly not quite as stiff as that in the tour.

Also, the vr tour came 1* open, I didnt need that. I bought the pro and set the face to neutral.
