cape cod in march

I am thinking of a road trip there in march if weather permitting . I here it is a great cheap golfing trip for the start of year, what courses would you play .

march on the cape iffy -- although coming from PEI -- conditions better than you will have

if you're driving down --- definitely stop in Plymouth. Pinehills. Waverly Oaks, Atlantic CC
all great public courses
on the cape, i am partial to Olde Barnstable, Dennis Pines, Bayberry Hills, Cranberry Valley

I couldn't agree more with tomfool. You could also add Ballmeade to the list. With regards to the weather, again I couldn't agree more. March is iffy. The issue is the ocean is probably hitting its valley in terms of water temps and this will affect the temps on the cape. We do an annual trip in mid-May and I recall a few years back the temps in Central-MA were pushing 90 and we were playing CC National and the temps were mid 50's with a 20MPH wind coming off the water. You'll certainly avoid the crowds and aerated greens.

Myrtle Beach in March is iffy...

The Cape in March is kind of (excuse my wording)...stupid. I grew up around there and it's not a place to go unless it's at least May.

mid-40's forecasted today

still...wouldnt plan too much for another month

I was just about to start a thread about cape cod courses, headed there for 4th of july. Will look into the suggestions above, at least the weather should be nice by then!
