Yoro Craft Mizuno Japan

Has anyone ever dealt with getting custom Mizuno irons from them? I saw they offer 9 custom finishes and a couple of different grind options. In addition you can remove and customize certain stampings normally found on the retail sets (like get rid of grain flow forged, add your name/initials/etc.). The double satin and the flat black finishes look awesome. Would love to do a combo set of 64/69's. Any input would be appreciated.

There are some guys and some info on TSG about the process and what they look like when done, You can also order directly thru TSG for the products. They did some blog posts about it with pictures and stuff I believe. Do a little googling I am sure you can find it.

Shoot him one more email, he is overburdened and misses things sometimes. Not your fault, they really need to hire someone else to help but he is a good guy. Just copy the original email and send it again and see what happens. If that doesn't work, PM me.

That worked. Thanks! Price is a bit steep for me and the black finishes offered are not plated.

Yeah some cool options but price is way high IMO for a custom version of what you get in the us for less than 1/2 the price.

I have dealt with them...and I said it was a [b]custom version[/b] of what you get in the us...which it most certainly is...isn't that the whole point of Yoro? Just because you don't like my opinion, doesn't mean you have to get your panties all in a bunch....

Just curious, is TSG the only avenue to order the custom irons? I have looked at the ones on TSG and WOW, I love the options. Yeah dropping $2300-2600 for irons is alot BUT you are also getting EXACTLY what you want....not what they are willing to sell you. The double nickle finish is gorgeous!

If I had discretionary income to build a set, MP-64 4-6 MP-69 7-PW double nickle with the radius sole grind for extra bounce/rounded leading edge. Hell even if you kept them in a case on the wall....THAT is art!

That is the set I was thinking about. Price quoted was $1925 plus $75 for freight. X100's with Sticky 2.3's. Certainly not outrageous but still a lot of money for a set of irons in my opinion.

You're absolutely right...the cool thing is that you can get exactly what you want...and like anything else, you have to decide if the price (2000+ at least) is worth that level of service...for some it is...for some it isn't...

Tario responded quickly every time Ive emailed him. Biggest thing is that you can get ANY Mizuno model customized even old models for finish, swingweight, offset and sole grind. I was quoted for a custom set of MP 53s 4-PW with double nickel satin finish $1695 shipped
