converting Big Sur long putter to a conventional length

Has anyone had any luck converting a Big Sur to a more conventional length? Is it even possible?

yes it's been done. the head weight on that thing is going to be super heavy (500g?). Also, I believe that if you cut the shaft down, it will be slightly thicker than a standard putter. a normal grip might feel like a mid-size

I am potentially getting a Big Sur S and it was cut down to 33" by the previous owner. Now I know this will be super upright, but is there any way to counter that? Also, does anyone know what type of shaft these take?

Here's what I did. I made an adapter on a lathe at work and epoxied it in and the shaft over. I then bent the adapter, didn't turn out perfect but it works

I've cut down a mid sure, and found it too heavy for me, and I like a heavy putter. The big sur's weight is going to make for a really heavy head, even if you throw a CB weight into the shaft butt.
