Callaway Connect-Easy

This thing has caused quite a stir down the range I practice at, I wish I'd bought shares in it!

I was using it a couple of weeks ago and really hitting the ball well when a European Tour Pro who was practicing in the bay behind me decided he wanted some of the action. He had a go with it (which got some interest from the coaches down there), and LOVED it. He ordered one there and then on his phone.

Anyway, last week he was practicing with it all week and apparently everyone wants one now! He's playing in the Spanish Open this week so if he wins I'm taking some credit for fixing that disconnection he's been fighting for years ;0)

...and I wonder if there's an issue with a Taylor Made guy using a Callaway aid!

When I start losing my swing I strap mine on and hit 8-10 balls on the range. I instantly regain a connected feel. It just works!

Yep, mine stays in the trunk and comes out whenever my swing gets a little loose. I'm not sure if this device is the sole reason but I have dropped my HC by about 4 strokes since Spring. If your goal is a pivot driven connected swing that minimizes right hand/arm action then this thing is a great tool.

I picked one up this weekend and its fantastic. Keeps me nice and connected, and ball striking while wearing it is phenomenal. I have no problems making full swings with it but it is definitely something that is good for grooving half wedges and the like

Rereading the thread there are actually two aids being talked about. One is the orange one that goes on your biceps, and one gets strapped to your chest with your right arm through a separate piece. Similar aids for but completely different at the same time.

You can use it to do this. Just keep it closer to the elbow.

I tried it a year or so back when I was really struggling. It felt really good making small swings and hitting 9-3 shots etc but when I tried to translate the feel afterwards without it on to fuller swings I was blading my shots directly right . The balls were going straight down my nose line lol . Would have killed my playing partners if it was on the golf course haha

 

I was unable to translate the feel to get that right elbow tucked in the downswing at that point in time and as I felt “the right elbow connected” on the down swing I was blading shots as if I didn’t play the game before. 
 

Obviously the problem was my application of the task and not the task itself. But I could never get the feeling to translate when I took it off.

I picked me up one of these. Its for baseball but its basically a bent club which forces you to rotate through the ball and keep the right arm tucked. Had tried the headcover under the armpit thing but it didnt quite do it for me. I picked up one of the Callaway connectors and WOW! Its perfect! It makes you feel like your right hand is the clubface and you have to rotate through it! Thanks, man! Perfect!
