Lessons in Connecticut

I am looking to get a couple lessons in the central CT area and was wondering if anybody had experiences that they could share and if there was anybody that they highly recommend. I am aiming for someone in the <$100 per hour range that can really work with me and get my game to where it needs to be. A lot of the people I look up either have limited information or are quite a drive away (45+ mins).

 

I did some searching and saw a couple suggestions but didn't see a rule about making posts like this and was hoping to create a new thread that might field some more results for myself and anybody in the future searching for this information. So even if your info doesn't apply to me I think it might be worthwhile to throw in anyways.

George Conner who teaches out of Gillette Ridge. 100 an hour. I took two lessons from him last year and he is amazing. did wonders for my game. He also does short game clinics and aim point putting lessons. you can book online as well.

Not really central Connecticut but Dale Humphrey in Bethany did wonders for my game this year. Teaches out of the Fore Seasons indoor place in Bethany during the winter months then at Woodhaven during the playable months. Literally took him 10 minutes to fix my swing and uses video which was nice to see exactly what I was doing before/after.

I think I am leaning towards George Conner as he is pretty close, I like his videos he has posted and he is right in my price range. I will be sure to follow up once I schedule and have my lesson.

I know its a little further and slightly more but I recently took a few lessons with Debbie Doniger out of Glen Arbour in Bedford Ny. When shes not up north she teaches side by side with Mclean. She changed my game even as a single digit before I went to see her. In my opinion is sometimes worth the drive and money to move in the right direction instead of fixing a new problem down the road. I have gone to a few and I even drove down to jersey to take a couple of lessons with David Glenz but really like the teaching style of Debbie.
