This might be my No. 1 moment because I remember it so well, but Mickelson is a hard guy not to like, and to see him so emotional makes this such a memorable moment.

Lefty shot a 16-under to win by three strokes over Lee Westwood, but the win was highlighted by his hug with his wife Amy, who had battled breast cancer the year before, as well as his emotional speech afterward. And Jim Nantz punctuated the moment with the line ”That’s a win for the family.”

I can't think of a better memory from the Masters than as a kid, in Ohio, watching with my dad as Jack won the 86 Masters. It was great for so many reasons...the biggest?... the look on dad's face as it happened. "He did it!"

In 2011 I had the pleasure of attending my first Masters.
Also got to meet Mr. Scotty Cameron during the Monday practice round.
After this experience it would have to be Jack in 86'.

After spending many years watching the TV coverage on Sundays and great disasters as well as triumphs, my favorite Masters was in 2012 when I was fortunate to attend my first Masters in person along with my family, while only a Monday Practice round the course and day together will be forever remembered.

Sitting in the bar at lake of the ozarks tan Tara resort course during a rain delay of a college tournament and watching Larry Mize chip in! Popcorn went every where! Couldn't have been a better spot to be in to watch that. With a bunch of guys that truly appreciated what just happened!

my first visit to the Master's, and watching the practice round. I most remember it being so much hillier than anything I had ever seen from the TV screen. also at the same time, was Jack "the golden bear" winning. And everyone saying, Jack is back. Hard to believe a quarter of a century has passed so fast. I am now a father, and a grandfather. Golf has been good to me.
