UPDATED W/PICS Torched finished affected by weather HELP!

Hi all, torched my scotty cameron a while back and love the colours, i played last week in horrible weather and completely forgot to dry the head off properly so was just sitting in a headcover with moisture in there for a few days. now the finish has gone a bit blotchy and lost its shine.

 

what can i use to bring the shine back and get rid of these marks? or do i have to polish it all off and torch it again?

 

can post pictures later when i get home if that'll help?

Here are some photos, and before someone says it i know the paintfill needs redoing the paint i used was way too old and not lasted well!

Here was how it used to look a nice bronzey colour with purples and blues all over, now its only this bit that still is:

the rest of it has been watermarked, i never thought water would do this as it took a hell of a lot of heat to change the colour of the metal. this is how it looks now:

anyone got any ideas what i can do to make better? or is it a case of polishing it off and starting again?

Most of the issue is just the water drying and leaving an oxidized look. Done alot of these finshes and most all marks just wash with hot soapy dish soap and dry. All of the colors and shine should be revived.

The suggestions of the blue away and naval jelly are fine if you want to remove the torched finish and start over. Try washing with hot soapy water and dry before you try anything else.

(with the insert and 2 different metals does this make it complicated)

Don't use naval jelly. It will just remove the golden flamed finish and leave the silver stainless steel factory looking finish.

Maybe try some Nevr-Dull, I have used it on fishing lures with success.
