6th Course at Bandon???

Is it happening? Has anyone heard any rumors?

From what I understand ( what my caddy told me when I was down there last year), there will be a 6th course but not on property.

He said the owner acquired the land last year near town and was going to build a course there, closer to Bandon Crossings than the resort. Still a links course though.

I also read in The Oregonian last week about a hearing that they had with the state parks department to do a land swap that would give Kaiser another very large tract of land to build yet another course. Don't know if this is the 6th you are referring to or if it is even another proposed beyond that.

It's being built (assuming the land swap is approved) south of town and will be affordable to locals. Walking only and about 30 bucks for locals IIRC. It will not be part of the complex.

That's a future putting green right off the deck of the clubhouse at Pacific Dunes. It's really, really big so I'm curious to see what they do with it.
