Westbrook and Love are not enough, add KD or LBJ and Laker fans will be happy. There is no doubt that eventually some free agents will be signed. But that does not dismiss the fact that D'Antoni is coaching one of the Laker greats at the very end of his career and essentially nobody other than Nash want him.

Seriously though, the team the Lakers put on the floor was an absolute joke. No one was gonna win with those guys. Howard was a huge baby the year before and made that entire team dysfunctional.

I'm not saying D'Antoni is great, but it's not all his fault.

He should be happy to get another year. Asking for two is asking too much, I would not be surprised if that was a show stopper. So basically we now have an excuse for every year that he failed. In NY it was Melo's fault right? And the reason he did not win a title in Phoenix was because of the officials right? D'Antoni created a niche offense that was lead by arguably the best player in the league at that time. He has been riding that train for too long now and has proved nothing since then.

Think I Had Spurs in 6. Spurs really had the wood over the Mavs before the series. Think the Spurs had 9 straight wins or something against them.

The West is an absolute toss up right now. If I was forced to pick a team right now, it would have to be LAC as they seem to be the most consistent team in the West thus far.. These games have been an absolute joy to watch. I can't remember a year with so many quality 1st round matchups.

Wow Sterling has pulled one of his finest moments!!! The best Clipper team in history and this clown found a way to make it harder on them.

I have always found it strange that Sterling and Jerry Buss were good friends.

Yeah the West just looks totally unpredictable. There's not a single series i'd confidently bet money on, other then i'm fairly sure the Clippers will beat the Warriors. Every other series is a complete toss up. Dallas is messing up San Antonio with some funky match-ups (like putting Marion on Parker, similar to what the Heat did with James last spring) and getting great play from guys like Monta. Portland/Houston every game is like 115-114, i mean anything can happen. Aldridge with two 40+ games, James Harden took 35 SHOTS! the other night...And Memphis is holding Durant and Westbrook to something like 6% shooting.

I still feel like Houston and Portland can't win the West because they don't defend. I don't think Golden State will beat the Clippers, and eventually Dallas will run out of steam (though if they beat SA, i could see them beating Portland or Houston though before losing to Clips/Grizz/OKC)

But i'll add Memphis to teams that could genuinely win the conference.

Major League Baseball banned Marge Schott from being around the team, and managing it day to day i believe, for 2-3 years

I'm not sure legally they can force him to sell, but they can probably ban him from being around the team if they wanted.

There's actually a lot of parallels between this and Schott. She basically did the same thing

I think Taj Gibson is one of my favorite players in the NBA. I mean, for 7-9M a year he's totally worth it. When Boozer is gone you'll probably get 17-8 from him with stellar defense. He's one of those guys that every championship team has

Best player on the Roster outside of Rose imo. Very Mad about losing this series. Doesn't help the DPOY doesn't turn up.

On Westbrook
He may have missed shots yesterday, However His Energy and Rebounding was a huge reason OKC won. Along with Jackson.

Clippers really looked lost out there today, started off slow and never really got it going. I feel bad that something like this might end up knocking them out of the playoffs. Not to say GS didn't play well because they certainly did, but the Clippers looked pretty bad.

One of the best video games of all time. My buddy gave me a Genesis for my bday with one of those games. Hmm.... Go to bed or play that game? It's not like I have to go to work at 5:30a.
