Thanks Sean! I was really surprise to see how short my swing was. I know it isn't perfect, it still requires a lot of work, but I think I have stopped growing, which should contribute to any success I may have.

I wouldn't call it short MD, but compact. Personally, I find it more athletic, and less things can go wrong with a swing like that.

130 lbs? Just kidding man, but Holy cow haha

Great swing buddy! Looks good, keep working hard and playing with passion, you obviously posess the talent with the game. Put on some weight and grow into that frame and you can be hitting it like Keegan and DJ before you know it.

How constructive would you like me to be? if you were my student, I would address these things.

left knee shouldn't be bowing during your turn, this leads to timing issues if you aren't extremely athletic. That being said, you look to be coordinated, and being a 1-2 hdcp, you can obviously play.

the left knee bowing leads to you sitting and popping up through downswing-impact. Stabilizing your movement will groove an easier path, with less moving parts.

during downswing, your club seems to be in line with your hands, and I would work on getting your club more behind, and more wrist c0ck. (watch youtube, or swing videos of any pro, and you will see the club behind their hands on downswing... this is what causes lag, which equals distance)

lastly, I would ask you where you got your toque, and see if you could get me one.

Best of luck, you swing just like one of my best buds up here. He is a goofy kid from Newfoundland.. sneaky good, hits it short, but deft touch around the greens and extremely accurate.

You pretty much nailed everything my coach has me working on. These videos were taken after a two week long break without a club, and usually my club is on a better downswing path. Popping up has always been a major problem, I will work on keeping my left knee from bowing. Thank you for the respectful comments!

MD, when I was your age I pretty much had the same "specs". At 58 I'm now 6'5" and 210. :-)

I just weighed myself and I was 165! Thats a lot for me, haha! I would love to gain more weight. 6'5" is really tall, taller than 99.5% of the world population or something I believe.
