Onoff CB 247. who still plays them?

had them years ago when i was still a high capper and let them go to a special

friend. had the oppurtunity to pick one up again. ive lusted for these irons so long

ago and were the set of irons that i could never get ( hard to find)

 

just wanted to know who has gamed them, and how they are compared to todays

offerings. ? i know they are like the nike split cbs from year and years ago and

are similar to the miura 202. dont really care that they aint conforming.

 

would like to hear your thoughts. thanks in advance.

i still have them in the bag and really really like them. They look so good at adress and the feeling is unbelievable. The performance is very good but it is not a easy to hit iron.
For me it is still the holy graile of jdm irons.
I'm also very interested in old advertisments of the irons. I only remember that the retail price was $2700. I think this was in 2006/2007? But i don't no the exact original specs or how many were produced.

Played them today with dg pros. Very nice set as accurate as they come just
Not as forgiving or as long as my gamers but that is to be expected. Oddly enough
I find the pw one of the harder clubs to hit , have to deloft it.

Shafted up the 3i with aerotech i95s. The rest of the set will follow suit when i get the shafts.

I had a set. I think I got them from Pete (Potuna). I agree with your assessment. Felt great, but not that forgiving. My first set of JDM irons were the Tourstage MR23 CB's which I felt were easier to hit....

what a coincidence. my 247s were from him. i beleive they were his 2nd set of 247s.
played a tourney yesterday with them. nice straightish clubs that are easy to control.
whats weird is the pw again! i am having fits with it. always wants to go right. thinking
of bending the lie a little flatter.

Reshafted the entire set with aerotech i95 to make the, more forgiving. This should be a soft
