This will be my goto thread for all hat pics for this year. In case you were unaware, earlier in 2013, to add a new facet of customization to my portfolio I purchased an industrial embroidery machine. The main purpose was to open up the options for custom head covers.

 

An unanticipated feature of the new embroidery machine was the ability to embroider hats. In the past, I would either use lids or the local embroidery shop. However, this usually set me back around $40 per hat. How ridiculous!

 

As part of the new and improved Best Grips Custom Studio, you can now purchase customized hats for as low as $15. These can be customized in anyway you please (puffy, aplique, etc.). All I need is a logo and a general idea to start from. You can choose from a multitude of hats (the selection is always growing) and we offer over 20 embroidery colors. If there is anything you want that you don't see, just drop me an email or call and e can discuss it further.

 

I wear a hat 3-4 days out of the week, so I am extremely particular when it comes to quality. The recent goto hat (Cool Max) is one of the best hats I've worked with. I'mm working on accumulating a few new colors and should have them ready next week.

Was recently chatting with my flexfit contact when they dropped this little bombshell on me. A limited run, camo colorway cotton snapback. I immediately fell in love. Expect to see a BG Camo Snapback on my head asap!

While hats are certainly not the bulk of what I do, I personally love hats and really enjoy making protos. While I have a lot of hats, my opinion of the industry has left me wearing fewer and fewer OEM hats. However, blank hats are boring and dorky so I came up with the [url="http://bestgrips.com/products/dby-snapback"]DBY Snapback[/url]. The intimidation of designing a full custom hat is replaced with a simple option: you choose a letter, number or symbol and then pick the fill and trim colors.

The best thing? The price! $10. Yes, they are flatbill snapbacks, but the best thing is they fit a broad spectrum of sizes and the bill can be curved!

Got a hat question for you. What is the biggest size you can get your hands on? A new Era size 8 is to small for me, I fit closer to 8-1/4, 8-3/8. Please be the answer to my prayers

Ok, I'm sorry for bothering you and blowing up this thread. But sometimes, when my mind gets stuck on something....u know how it goes.

In any case, I was checking out your webpage again, and saw that you can also put on custom designs (not just the letter/symbol). Is that true? I didn't see the design option on the non-camo snapbacks. Would I just email my order to you?

Ok. I have pretty fast turnover rate, so I will make a note to get a few more colors on the next order. I rarely get black, because HEY! that is what the bad guys wear! haha.

I can put any design you want on any hat! I'm a little low on inventory, so there are fewer options atm, but on my list of things to do is grow the selection.

Here is a custom hat I did a few weeks ago. The hat is a Pacific Headwear (the best hat on the marker imo) fitted mesh flat bill. I love the grey and white combo.

Yes. The blue and black ones I posted yesterday have the flexfit fitting. I can order flexfits, but I think the pacifics are much better.

I really like the USA BBP Meshback...when will it be back in stock?

I like the colorway of the BBP Flat Bill, however am not a flat bill kind of guy...anyway to get that colorscheme but in the USA BBP Meshback brim?

Wish I had seen this before I made the order 15 minutes ago for hats!

I have black and white mesh back in curved bill on the way as well as a few other options. Send me a pm and i will be more than happy to shoot you some pics.
