Recently bought RBZ urethanes because they were $15/dz. I figured, 3 piece and should be like ProVs!? I liked the TM ball and have been playing them so far this yr. Found a ProV mid round yesterday and decided to play it. Sorry, but there is no comparison or substitute for the ProV1! The feel isn't even close between the 2 balls! The old saying, 'you get what you pay for'! Ordered the 4 dz. deal and I am not looking back. Just my .02

Look for the ProV1 Practice Balls. These are NOT x-outs/seconds/lost balls etc. These are Conforming balls made by Titleist that have some cosmetic blemish (i.e. print, placement, number etc). There is no difference in performance and i have never actually noticed the blemishes. Also, you get some cool numbers sometimes, like one ball had a 99 number.

They go for around $29.99. The mix of ProV1 and ProV1x appears to be random, but if you can find them at a local store, most people don't care if you open a few boxes to get either all V1s or all V1xs.
