Tour Edge Bazooka GeoMax Driver Review

Looks:

When you look down at this head it looks great! It's pretty plain with an alignment logo which is not distracting at all. The color is also very nice. This club looks to be made of really high quality.

Feel:

There is only one word to describe the feel of this driver...and it is SOLID!!! I was comparing it to the TM R580XD and the Cleveland HiBore and both of those drivers didn't feel nearly as solid as the GeoMax.

Shaft:

The stock shaft in this driver is GREAT! The feel is amazing with this shaft and I like it more than the Aldila NV and UST ProForce V2. It launches high and for me this is a really good thing. I can go after one and the ball just floats in the air.

Performance:

The performance of this driver is excellent. It is longer than the drivers I mentioned above and just feels pure. When you hit this driver you know it's going long and it gives great confidence to me when i'm on the tee. Of course if you don't put a good swing on this driver then you're gonna know but with 460CC of forgiveness the results are never too bad.

Once again i'll say that I placed this driver against the TM R580XD and the Cleveland HiBore and it came out on top.

I wonder how it compares with the exotics which I'm currently playing. Will have to try one out when I can but I read reviews where the face would crack/cave in. For the exotics it's either the head coming off or the shaft breaking at the hosel. Good thing Tour Edge has a lifetime warranty.

I can see how this would happen....if you put a hammer to it ;) . It looks to be made of good quality to me and I don't see how someone could break the face of it. Maybe it was just a bad club?

I've been bagging this since April. Even though I haven't compared it straight up vs the HiBore and R580XD I must say that I agree with all of the above. A solid driver that is under rated like your Pi5 irons A great driver for the price and a real decent offering by Tour Edge in the high M.O.I. driver race.
