TM RSI UDI 3 iron build....

Hey,

I found this head at my local range, the previous owner snapped the head off, bit of shaft left in the hosel - nice...

Agreed with my pro that I'd take it away, shaft it up, see how it played and if I liked it I'd give him some $$ for it.

My current bag stops at my MP4 4 iron, which I carry 180 running out to 190, then my 3 wood from memory goes around 230 in the air

I've been trying various hybrids / long irons and ultimately may end up with an MP Flihi in 3 or 2 iron, or a 818 hybrid, not sure yet.

In the mean time, I got the broken shaft out and now I need to find a shaft for the UDI....

Have KBS tour 120 stiff flex in my MP4s

I've hit and like the Tensei White in the 818 H2

Previously had a Sonartec HB001 with stock 80g graphite design stiff - was ok, nothing exciting.

Last night I hit an old 21* 816 hybrid, knocked down to 20* with the stock 80g Blueboard - didnt like that at all, felt very loose and light.

I'm considering sticking a C-Taper lite in it (was the stock shaft) but I cant say I'm in love with that shaft, but wondering if the KBS Tour 120 would be too heavy?

Thoughts welcome!

I'm just having one done with the 85g hzrdus black should be back this week have that in a superfast 18 degree that i love so thought I would try it in a udi

have another with the KBS which i like but wanted something a bit lighter

Big fan of the steel fibers in a UDI. I went 95s and my irons are all px6.0. Find that I can easily flight it however I need.

If you like the KBS Tour Stiff, try the KBS TGI 100. It's a little lighter but plays just like the KBS in your irons. You can hard step it to make it play a little stiffer which is what I did in mine. I had a TGI 95 in one until it cracked but it was too loose for what I wanted. It would give me high spinners in the UDI. The TGI is also much cheaper than the average hybrid shaft.

I play the Hzrdus black 85 and like it. The kbs proto hybrid was a little higher launching but much smoother. For steel I liked the c taper lite a lot. I prefer an 85-105ish weight range.
