Epic Flash Sub Zero Weight Question

I have an even flow blue 65g x flex shaft in my epic flash sub zero. I cut the shaft down to a club playing length of 44.25 inches. Any idea how much weight I would need to add back to get the swing weight back to stock? I was thinking of buying an after market screw in weight in a higher gram weight than the stock 2 gram but don't know what to go with as they have them from 2-14 grams.

Go in the club builders thread and look at the top at the swing weight by parts thread. I think it's 3 points for every half inch change and 3g head weight per point.

I checked out the club builder thread. Says 1/2" of shaft is 3 swing weight points. I cut about an inch so that's 6 points. Then it states each point is 2 grams. So as I read it I need 12 grams of head weight to get it back to original specs?

That math works out. I will say from experience wven though it is the same swing weight it may not feel the same. If you have lead tape I would try that until it feels right and then order that weight or order an 8 as well incase 12 feels to heavy.

nono...3 grams is about the 2x the actual weight on a driver....

0.5" inch is 3 SWP, but 1 SWP vary depending on length, and at 44.25" its only 1.64 grams, but there is no good reasons to reset the original value, unless that value was part of a fitting of this club, and at THIS play length. That means, even if that value came from a fitting session, its NOT that value we shall use if we change play length.
