Need Help on Getting Swing Weight Dialed in For Driver

Taylormade M1 Driver with Graphite Design Tour AD DI-5 Stiff Shaft cut to 44.5" and low 90's swing speed. Driver swing weight of C9 and total weight of 315 grams. With way too many duck hooks and high right drives, I've begin experimenting with the weights which are both 11 grams. Been playing with one in the draw bias slot and one forward for lowest spin. And I've had the loft dialed down to 6.5* which opens the face 4 degrees.

Here's what I did. Put a 22 gram weight in the low spin slot and adjusted the loft to 8.5 which got the clubface back to square. Played today and on the front nine I hit the driver better than I've hit it in at least 10 years. Missed one fairway with what was probably my best drive of the day and every other drive was dead down the middle either dead straight or the very slightest draw and on a really good trajectory. Here was the issue. I'm guessing the 22 gram weight increased the swing weight to about D4-5 which I'm thinking is too heavy for me as I got tired on the back nine and did not hit the driver as well as I did on the front nine.

So I'm asking for some thoughts/input on how much to dial that weight back. Thanks.

If you want it lighter, pull one of the sliders out and replace with a few grams of lead tape in that same location. See if the result is the same and if the overall weight feels okay. You could also buy some lighter slider weights.

You got good results...I would give it some time and stick with it. You can always scale back the weight a bit later.
