callaway diablo driver tour authentic?

It is the lowest spin driver I've ever hit. I would characterize it as a high ball speed, mid/low launch, low spin driver. Mine came dead at 2* open. It is very forgiving for a 430cc club. Love it. The only thing I might prefer is a slightly deeper face, but the trajectory is great so I got over it. The R9 couldn't knock this out...

I'll say it...

I've got a 9.5 deg w/ Diamana Whiteboard 63 x5ct stiff at 45". It's solid. I have just hit the Ping I15 and G15 and really like the launch and low spin of the G15 clubhead. I think my Diablo Tour is gonna find its way onto ebay. Solid, but nothing special.

who said anything about pics? i just wanted to know how it plays compared to other drivers. i cant ask anyones opinions without pics?

anyways, thanks for ur opinions guys for those that played it. i wish i had more opinions about it from people who have played it extensively, and really cant seem to find any.

Not a whole lot of replies because there's nothing special about the driver. You'll find them on closeout at your local golf retailer in the next few months in my opinion.

Nothing special about it in comparison to what? Its hot. Its low spin. It actually sits open.

Its a fantastic driver.

Lets also not confuse this driver with the standard Diablo. They are VERY different.

I had one and it is a nice driver but just couldn't get over the perception that the head is closed even if it's actually open. Just didn't setup right for me. I'm interested in next years retail Diablo Edge however, has a more traditional shape and a hossle.

Right there are two models the regular (closed) and the TA (open) also the hosel's are different.

I have the Authentic Diablo Tour 10.5* w/Matrix X-Con 5 as I love this driver, cant wait for the FT-9 TA.

Yes and in my previous post I was referring to the TA model as well; still looked closed to me...BB
