Callaway Tour Authentic Tour Blue

Good morning all! I was at my local Golfsmith yesterday and they had a tour issued Callaway Tour Blue putter. I putted around the stupid little practice green and must say that the putter felt quite nice. It was actually in pretty good condition as well.

Just wondering if any of you have any experience with the Callaway Tour Blue putters and what you think of them....

I still own one. Mallet design. I play it when my putting
needs a boost or want something different to look at.
Very nice putter, It was a little pricey, and that is why
I have never traded it off. It is the only face balanced
putter I own.

Yeah I remember them being pricey back in the day. This putter was $200. The label said it was a tour authentic tour milled blue putter.

IMO $200 is way too much for a putter that went for $300 new, had its blue paint scratch off on the sole too easily and is not sought after. But, if you make putts with it, all that goes out the window.

I think they are charging more for it because it is a tour issued club.

I seriously doubt this putter is a Callaway tour authentic. The callaway tt blue putters were discontinued long before callaway started their "tour authentic" product line

Great putters. I've heard mixed reviews on the finish, some say it comes off some say it doesn't

I've always loved the Callaway TT putters. Any other feedback on them? Think I might add one to the collection.

I still have a TT1 in the collection... Very nice putter. Deep Face milling gives a great feel at impact. Too pricey IMHO when they originally came out. The finish on mine is still immaculate (hasn't seen much bag time over the years though). That blue finish looks beautiful though.

Owned one this past year and was really surprised at the feel and the roll it put on the ball. Can be had for around $100 fairly often when they come up for sale. One reason you don't see many for sale is too many people love theirs and won't sell. Excellent putter that was just too expensive when new to compete with the SCs of the world. Go for it!

I gave mine to my brother after he left his putter at home before a round and borrowed it....then proceeded to whoop me with it! Had to give it to someone who was putting that good with it. Not sure if he still games it (last time I saw him he had a NC GM2 in the bag), but a great feeling putter, I felt like it feels very similar to the Ping JAS.

I missed where it was represented as a "Tour Authentic" putter?


Nice stick. At the time, was the only other putter that retailed in the same ball park as Scotty Cameron's (probably part of why it didn't sell). They're held in very high esteem by alot of guys now.

Umm right in the title. Tour issue stuff wasn't prevalent when theses came out so i doubt very seriously if it is one. I have seen many non chain golf stores misrepresent their stock so take that for what its worth.

does it have a tour id band by the grip? Is it clear with red text, does it start with J4xxxx

I bought my wife the mallet so she would stop taking the SC out of my bag. After using it on the practice green, I wish I would have purchased it for me and gave her the SC!

Played with my Uncle's in a Newport styling, and it felt pretty good. If I recall it has a tin like sound opposed to a solid click.

I believe it was made from titanium with tungsten weights in the sole. It was a little ahead of it's time, from a technology and cost standpoint. I could never get past the blue color, but it putted well.

I believe the heads are all 330gm regardless of length. Feel is softer than the Ping JAS, IMO. The mallet version is very forgiving. Came with a midsize rubber grip, very nice design. Excellent putter for playing on fast greens. Beautiful finish. Very underrated.
