I personally dont care for them very much, they are still a very good ball. I seem to hit them shorter than the
Pro V1, but if you keep your eyes open you should be able to find one or two
and try them your self that is what happend with me. I have to admit though
I left the Pro V camp this season and went to the PENTA I hit is as far and
get more spin with my inside 100 wedges then I did with the Pro V. To each
his own I guess it seems to me that there is very little differance between
the high end balls it is hard to really tell wich one is better if one or the other really is.

Any one try them currently play the pro v1 how does it compare
[/quote]

I've hit Callaway i(s). They are designed for people that want or need spin and like the soft feel. They are comparable to ProV1 but in the wrong hands they will feel softer then ProV1 at impact and probably some distance will be lost if SS is lacking.

I think Callaway Tour i(z) is the best ball I've ever played, and I've played all the best high performance balls going back to Balata.

Which one spins LESS off the driver? i(s) or i (z). I like soft feel off the putter but dont want too much spin off the driver as my home course is pretty tight. I currently play bridgestone e6 but dying to try a premium cally ball. Thanks.

The i(z) does

I have been using the z but bought a box of the s this weekend. I love it, feels great, good distance and it wears so much better than the z. I bought another box I was so excited.

The i(z) is definately lower spin off the tee, i just changed back to it from the i(s) as the i(s) seemed to spin too much from the short irons. Todays round confirmed that i can stop the i(z) from 7i and up, with only a short release after landing on lower trajectory shots. Only drawback i see with the i(z) is that the cover seems to cut easier than the i(s).
