Which one spins more?

Too much spin for me. It spins as much as any premium ball I have ever hit.

two massively different balls for different type of players. The e5+ will spin heaps more as said in the post above mine. It has a urethane cover.

 

e5+ is for the slower or moderate swing speed but accomplished player,

 

e6+ is for the moderate swing speed but slice or hooker.

Correct. Last year they were just e5 and e6.

Did the bridgestone ball test at a demo day on Saturday and was told that the 5+ was about a 75 compression and the e6+ is like a 50.

 

BTW my spin at 16.4* with the B330 was a whopping 4100 switched to the e6+ launched it at an even 16* but the spin dropped to 2922 and resulted in a 16 yard carry difference. Ball speed stayed the same.

Did you happen to check wedge spin on the B330 vs. the e6+?

 

I just played with the e5+ and they performed great! I was matching them against HXTours and a One Platinum I found. The HXT might have been a little better off of a full wedge/8-iron (height and stop), but chips were about the same.

 

I fight a slice off the tee, so the e6+ might get me a little more forgiveness... I used to love the Precept U-Tri Distance... the e6+ sounds like the same basic design.

nope they only have you hit your own driver. I have played all of the Bridgestone balls and in terms of wedge spin they go from B330s, B330, E5+ and E6+. I'm not one to suck the ball off of the green so high wedge spin isn't all that to me. I will say that I used to shred the older E6 with my Vokey SM The E6+ is much more durable.

The E5+ is the best alternative to a three piece premium ball. The urethane cover makes the ball spin as if it were a designer imposter. Winter golf is managable if you need to play a low compression ball with the benifits of short game control. High five+ Bridgestone.

I've been playing the e6+s almost exclusively this year until reading a few posts of people loving the e5+. Tried a round with them this past sunday and they are so much harder! I much prefer the feel of the e6+, but I did have some great drives with the e5... I don't know the exact yardage, but my local muni's par 5 18th is at 455 from the whites and my drive stopped right at the 150 marker. That would probably be my longest drive in a round, ever. I think I typically am at an inconsistent 230-250 yards per drive.

 

I didn't notice extra spin around the greens, but as a pretty high handicapper I probably need a few more to really get a feel for the ball.

 

I'm torn. I think performance wise the e5+ was better for me (though one round is hardly a definitive indication). I do much prefer the feel of the e6+ on drives and putts, though. I had trouble judging putting feel with the e5+.

 

I'll give it another couple rounds...

e5+, spins equal to any premium ball. Premium balls are a tad longer off the tee, around greens pretty much toss up. Great ball for $25 a dozen retail
