Looking for a little info. Pic,s included

Hey guys just wondering if someone might be able to help me on a little info on this model. I bought this last week and contacted Tad on it to see if he would do a repair on a small ding on the top line & neck and he gave me an estimite on the work. When I sent him the photo,s on it his responce was that I should not touch it and just keep it oiled. He did state that it was a run from 1997 and that the shaft was a fluted tru temper .335 tip. If you turn the face just right you can see his signature on the face in the milling. I do know it is carbon steel and approx 330grms that much he has told me. It is allways nice to be able to have contact with the maker of your putters than speeking to reps that is for sure.
Just wondering if any of you might know why he would not want to work on it and if there was a large run of these. As far as the work on it not a big deal as I will keep as is per our conversation.

First of all, Great looking stick. I have several and wanted a sight line on my Pro 1X and he couldn't do it middle of last year because of moving from LaGrange to Selma. I don't have anybody to recommend, never went with the sight line. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of that thing.
