Choose one: PrecisionPro NX7 Pro Slope or Voice Caddie SC200 Plus for determining yardages?

This really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you practice on a range with multiple flags that you can laser to measure then a rangefinder is probably a better option as you can then use it on course also. If you want something to measure launch characteristics then one of the personal monitors would probably be better. I have the SC300 which I really like, but I also have a laser for when I play. I do find that I use the laser much more than the monitor on a monthly basis.

Hey guys,

I'd love to have both, but the money isn't there for the year. I'm actually selling a Vokey SM7 in the plastic to just make some of the way there in the $$.

Personally, I'm leaning toward the launch monitor as I'd really like to get more concrete numbers of my wedge shots and longer irons. Unfortunately, my home course has a shotty driving range that has few yardage markers. And until I get those concrete yardages, it doesn't matter if I can shoot a pin with the rangefinder within a yard if I don't know what shot will give me that yardage.

Also, I've read more positive reviews about the SC200 Plus than I've read negative. I'd say about 9 positive to every 1 negative. Just saying.

I can't comment on the SC200, but I do have the SC300 and I think it is worthwhile for yardage checks. It has a practice mode which I set between 50 yards to 110 yards and has really helped me dial in certain yardages and also which ones to try and stay away from. I can hit 50 pretty consistently but 60 is an issue. Same with 80 vs. 90. If neither fits your budget right now, I have seen a few ranges in Southern OH add Trackman / Top Tracer to their range. Nice feature for a couple more $'s per bucket. Good luck!

Obviously, we're biased. But, we've found that adding a rangefinder to your game will take off anywhere from 3-6 strokes off the average golfers game. Can't speak to that number for the SC200, but your usage is significantly more restricted with a launch monitor vs. a rangefinder. Also, you're not limited to shooting pins or markers with a Precision Pro Rangefinder. You can get a distance to anything that you can see and our rangefinders are accurate to within a yard.

In terms of reviews, our NX7 Pro has over 400 5-star reviews (https://www.precisionprogolf.com/product/nx7-pro-slope-golf-rangefinder/) and a total average review score of 4.8/5.

All that, plus we provide free batteries for life and a two year warranty with 24/7 customer service.

We've also partnered with GolfWRX to offer members a $20 discount off any of our rangefinders. Just use the coupon "golfwrx" at checkout.
