:) what up all golfers.........i'm happy to let yall know that i got fitted and purchase the mx23s 4-pw. when i was getting fitted for the set........i hit a few and damn! they feel sooooo soft............even mishits feel nice and soft.......i can't wait to get these sticks out........now i know the feeling of a forged iron vs cast..........i can totally tell the difference in feel compared to my rac os2..........and i seem to hit the 23s better from what i can tell from the fitting process.

now i know what it feels like....................it feels damn good to hit a forged iron on the sweetspot!

I've played cast cavity backs since I started 10 years ago and finally bought the 23's this March. I don't know if I'll ever be good enough to play MP-60/32's or any other Mizuno "player's" irons but I do know I'll be playing Mizuno forged irons for as long as they make a forged offering that I can handle. Now I know exactly what I want to feel when I hit an iron. Considering the fact that I know several low/scratch handicappers who use forgiving cavity backs (Ping Zing 2, X-14) I've got a feeling my 23's are in the bag until I wear them out regardless how low my scores eventually go. Congratulations on your acquisition, hopefully you'll be as satisfied with the 23's as I am.

Congrats. I just got them a month ago, I think Im a Mizuno user for life now, they are awsome sticks. You will be amazed at some of your shots.

thanks guys...............i am very satisfied with my purchase and i can't wait to get these out........i waiting next to my phone for the proshop to call me once they are in.........

 

i got fitted.....and it's all standard lies, loft, etc.........got them in tt dynalite gold s300

 

at first.......even before my great iron search.....i've narrowed it down to:

 

cleveland cg4s, ping i5s and the mx23s.........i really wanted the i5 but can't get over the looks/finish of the irons.........nothing really amazing about the cg4..........great feedback on the 23s.......

 

after getting fitted and hitting the 23s............i asked the fitter if the i5 were worth forking over an addition $50........be said that if after i hit the i5 and compared them to the 23s.............considering if i hit the i5s the same as i did for the 23s...........is the extra money worth it......?worth the feel..........? i totally said no...............being as this is the first forged iron and mizuno set i've owned.........i really like it.......heck....i love it!!!

Once you've played Mizuno nothing else quite compares! I found this out after a long painful experiment with many other club manufacturers' products. Now that I have Mizuno irons and wedges in the bag, life is good and my scores are improving. Good luck!

Gotta agree with everyone about the mx-23's being great irons. I switched over a year ago,

going from X-12's to the mx-23's, and have no complaints.

 

I do sometimes doubt my ability to hit them as consistently as I did cast irons,

but I never doubt the quality of the club.

Another MX-23 lover here. I have had these irons since the week they came out about 2 1/2 years ago and can't say enough good things about them.

 

Quality forged irons that are forgiving, but do not look like shovels.
