Hi I am looking for some Yamada Putters or Putter heads. I would appreciate it if anyone knew.

He built a beautiful Yamada for me and is a great guy. i just ordered the first one hell make on his return, itll be ready iby august next year.

But it doesnt really matter ,any of them as long as Ulike the look of it will be hard to repalce once in yr bag

Fair enough, everyone needs a break once in a while. If you hear in the next couple of years that he is taking orders let me know. I really wanted to get a anser style putter in the burning copper finish. Sorry to jack this thread but Tupo have you compared Bettinardi to Yamada? How do they compare in feel. Also, do you have any recommendations for a blade type putter (i.e. [color=#000000][size=3]Ping Sedona).[/size][/color]

got a cpl of tour bettis.
really like them ,
differnt feel and weighting. the bettis seems lighter all round , even tho they arnt , and the yamada is a more dense inpact. certianly not going to say one is better than the other.

I go back and forth between this baby and the Epon Zen. Can honestly say they're the best feeling putters I've ever rolled.

Fellas, my advice on dealing with tsupo is as follows: if he offers to sell you something, buy it, don't haggle and enjoy something rare and super high quality. I Have purchased several items from him and have always been grateful, very happy and realized there's a different level out there....

I have three or four Yamadas. Yesterday while playing in the Philippines I noticed a Yamada SC-304 in one of the rental bags. I asked if it was for sale and was able to pick it up for PhP 1,500, around $33US.

 

It is a little beat up, but I used it for that round and won all the cash!

Dunno about you guys. But previously when I purchase the Yamada Emperor 2, I was told the headweight was 360g but when I took it out to measure, it weights 373g. Super heavy.

I had an oldman that I flipped, it was pretty heavy. Really a nice putter. Bas far as production putters go the yamadas are pretty good deal at usually 20-25k yen lightly used.

Yeah, I found my Oldman to be very head heavy too, but it's good for slow greens in early Spring, so I kept it.
