Traveling to San Fran...want to travel/play Pebble others

I though I'd ask you guys how I should go about playing Pebble and or Spyglass. I am going to be in the area in late July early August. I have heard that I'll need to stay at one of their hotels, is that true? Is there another way (less expensive) for me to get on. I'll be going solo maybe hookup with a foursome? I dont know the reality of trying to play there.

 

What other course should I try to play there (between SF and Montery)?.

No deals at pebble or spyglass. make sure you play fort ord bayonet course.

 

pasatiempo in santa cruz is another sleeper.

half moon bay ocean course is another good one.

Thanks for the link. You were right, great info and opinions. I was thinking when would I ever get the chance again to play Pebble. Much of what people said made me think I would want to play with my dad. I might postpone playing PB, but I actually have always wanted to play Spyglass. Pasatiempo looks interesting and I'll be looking into Bayonet.
