These have a good chance at replacing my Nike's as my gamers. I've always liked having things different from other people, golf clubs, cell phones, etc. So, not only do the clubs feel nice, but how often will you see them on a course? Next to never.

I just tonight picked up the matching pitching wedge to your set for $2

Stu gave you the "red-dot" 87 or "first USA set" PW that goes to my set that is missing the wedge

Mine is in worse shape, though. Some brassing on the face.

They are very good clubs. Tad says they're messed up in design but, hey

Maltby, actually. Think Tad Moore commented on it at some point but it was Maltby.

Dunlop made very good irons. I have a set of Dunlop Japan Tour Specials with a titleist type muscleback
I think they're maybe better than the Aussie's ..but they have a flange and I'm a steep swinger so that helps

I'm bummed but uh
the pitching wedge I bought last night

It turned into a Sand Wedge

washed it and while it has seen good use and comes with ball mark center of the face much like your others ..it's in better shape than I thought. Not as good as the PW but better than some of the others. The ferrule was damaged. looks like he tried to pull the pinned head off the shaft with channel locks :stop: so it has "teeth". I'll repair and sand/polish best I can.
It is matching.
Let me know. That will give me some time to try the wedge out and time to buff it out and maybe re-blast the face

I'd trade straight up for the PW but that leaves you a gap and PW sees more use

[/quote]I think if I remember right I checked that wedge at 51* I put him a card in with the loft and lie specs on it. I know it had not been hit much I might have hit it one time in the net at the shop. Hey it is his now if you guys wanna trade good what ever makes you happy at least it has a good home and will get what it deserves to be played with

we'll see. A gapped but matched "set" if he trades. I get to fill in my set a little.
If he completes his set with mismatched PW he could top it off with the correct SW, which would be cool.

I think I might actually like the other version better. it at least looks a bit more "classic"
I actually don't like maltbys version. It might play better or more to the original "made in Australia" but it looks like a bag of human tongues.
