Can you imagine listening to him if he actually did something work talking about? I think he's mellowed some since his first tour on Big Break, but I would still need some earplugs if I were to play in the same foursome.

If you read Golfweek, you'll see that DD shot about 210 in a recent 3-day tourney. While you might not like his banter, I ask you this question: can you beat him? Give us your real name and let us see where you finished on the recent mini tour events.

The funny thing is when you see him on there with his teammates he's great to them so when you see him talking smack it's to get to the competitors. I bet if you played a round with him he'd be pretty cool. Now if you're playing for some cash or are good buds be prepared for some serious talk!

Couple of my friends have played with him in MoonLight Tour events in and around Orlando. He is ment to be very good company on the golf course. Just got to take him how he is, the man just lives, breathes golf.

Just a small point. You don't really hear Tiger or Duval or Phil or anyone "talk" about how good they are. They just go out and do it. Donatello "talks" alot about his game. Now don't get me wrong, it has gotten him on the Big Break and he is reaping the rewards from that. Anyone that has played mini tour golf know that unless you come from wads of cash it is all about getting some sponsor cash. I am sure that he is getting some sponsor cash and trying to chase the dream. That is what it is all about. Being a whiner and making it seem like life and death and taking it to far is not what it is all about. Sometimes he is just a little hard to take, that is all (in my opinion). I have never met the guy and I am just going off of what you see from the cutting room floor. But if more than one person says the same thing about you, it tends to have some merit. Eddy, although lacking in game, seemed like a chill, cool guy and he did not like Donatello by any stretch. Might say something about DD. He probably just has some pasion for the game and takes it a little to far. In my playing prime (2000-2002 where I qualifed for a PGA tour event) I would have played him any day of the week. Now since I am not playing all the time and am anticipating not being a professional for much longer (cmon USGA), I might play him 6 days of the week...LOL!

That's pretty funny. Unless TGC has a Big Break Alumni show, DD better find a real job really soon. He has a family, it's time to grow up. I am all for chasing dreams, but chase a dream if you have some real talent, not because you are in love with the fame that comes from being on the PGA Tour. I don't get some of these guys struggling on the various mini tours while their wife/kids suffer. It's bad enough when some guy is out lighting the world on fire in the business world and never comes home, at least he's making money. But what is a 35 year old, who has not won anything in so long the glue on the plastic trophy has deteriorated, doing chasing a so called dream??? Enough already.

The guy is a "legend in his own mind"......LOL......as a major championship winner friend of mine once said, "you don't have to TELL people with your MOUTH how good you are......your CLUBS will scream it for you"......the guy is the classic "wannabe"........good luck to him.......I'm sure he's a nice enough guy, but, IF he jabbers half as much on real life as he did in the couple of episodes of BB I saw he'll have hell lasting in real professional golf......some 3rd class mini tour event, maybe, but in a truly professional golf environment he'd last about 9 holes with his "rap"......:rolleyes:
