Good Club Fitter in Indianapolis

Anyone know a good clubfitter here in Indianapolis? Looking to get a new set of irons and it has been a while since I was fit, so I think it is about time.

I know nobody in Indy, but if you are willing to drive a couple hours east, I can recommend 2 in the Cincy area.

Brad Fellers at The Fort. He might be one of the most knowledgeable guys I have ever met in the golf industry. Worked with him at Oakmont last year, get a putter fitting also. He is well worth it.

Tony Rhodes at True Clubs. Has a set up in Bob BLock by Castleton Mall. Very knowledgeable and a good club fitter/builder. He is also a Wrx'er and on here frequently. Gotta give some love to the home crowd.

I am a member at Correct2Compete (formerly Golf Solutions) in Zionsville and ended up working with Leith Anderson as well. We spent over 2 hours in our initial session he has continued to work with me whenever we are both there and it is not too busy. Definitely worth it.

Does Jon Hoover or Brad Fellers take their clients outside to let them hit a few clubs off the real turf? Or is it all trackman indoors? I'm guessing Leith is all indoors because of his location.

I've never been fitted before, but I just have a hard time believing I can adjust my swing and hit the same way indoors vs. outdoors when I can't visually see my ball flight.

You said something that threw up a red flag. As a fitter, we do not want you to adjust your swing to hit a particular club. We adjust the club for your swing. In the fitting process, 3-5 swings is all it takes to determine if a shaft is right or wrong for you. If you have to make adjustments and change your setup to hit your 6i versus the P wedge, then you were not properly fit. I hope that makes sense. Keep in mind that fitting facilities like golf courses and other locations have a very limited selection of shafts and usually no ability to change the length, weight, and grip size/style to the demo club, hence you will be sold a club with specs that you never hit. Do your research and ask a lot of questions before you spend your money.
