Justifying club purchases.....

There's no way I would ever spend $40 on an adapter.. I I bought 2 off the bst for $20 a piece..

I can honestly say I've never hit any of those drivers.

I never buy a whole new set up when I already have one. I have one driver and one driver shaft waiting for spring testing and that's the most extra I'll have. If I like the vapor line better, ill sell the sldr and use that cash to fund one.

I'll never understand women paying that much for a bag. You could pick one up at TJ Maxx that's just as nice looking and get tons of compliments on it....I know bc my wife does this regularly.

You're lucky - I don't understand why my wife does a lot of things.

By your logic - I suppose most wives don't understand why we don't just buy a generic/clone set of golf clubs and be happy. It's b/c we don't have golf shoes to go with it...

No I think there's a pretty stark difference between clone/generic clubs and major OEMs. A bag holds their crap no matter what brand it is, lol.

My wife admits she has no interest in golf and only wants to hear me say "thank you, I had a really fun time today". She does not want one single replay of my round but will ask if I played well.

also with a toddler, our agreement is basically " id like to golf this weekend, would you be ok with that?" " I'll watch the kiddo for a few hours later or another day if you want some time to yourself" hike, shop, errands etc. (was the same without the baby )

That is our agreement to justify time away and $$ for greens fees.

As far as all other golf related purchases? I have a pretty good system for padding my pay pal account with eBay and selling a MLM supplement line. It's my fun money and I have a budget each year to try and upgrade my arsenal?

On another note, my friends who hunt, fish, snowmobile, and ATV ???? I can't even hold a candle to their spending?
