Sizemore Putters?

Anyone have one or heard of them?

I was searching through this list of putter makers:

...and most of it is gimmicky or just plain garbage, but I came across this one putter maker that makes some nice looking putters. Particularly this one here:

Anyone have any experience with Sizemore putters or know where I can get one, and pricing, etc..?

His nicest looking putters are from his Copper Stix line. IMO they put the current stuff to shame. I believe he made 25 of his blade model for each Corporate sponsor of certain Japanese pros and had the sponsons'name (Panasonic was one) and the initials of the pro (HS-1, -2 ... -25) on them as well as a gold medallion.

 

Real eye candy, but they had no 'personality' when it came to actually putting with it.

 

They show up on EBAY now and then - just search under Copper Stix and google it as well... see if you don't find it more appealing then his current offerings. Sold new for $300, expect to pay under $150 these days.

Copperstick, Lux or Sizemore are the same thing w/ the same quality from the same exact designer.

 

Copperstick ( around 1998-199 ) was the 1st generation that was sold mostly in Japan and made their debut in Japan.

 

Lux was on a prototype stage and the Sizemore collection is the one they are going to launch.

 

I'm in the process of talking w/ them and understanding the whole technology of it and business goal of it.

 

I guaranty you guys one thing that the quality on either one of them are the same, it's all depending on the quality control at the end of the day.

I for one can attest to incredible quality on the old Copper Stix line. I've had a couple in the past, both made of solid Stainless Steel with copper inserts. To say they were gorgous is an understatment. Thet have no finish to worry about, just the brushed steel like a kitchen appliance. Both were also made for tour players from Japan with their nicknames in a solid 24kt gold ingot set in the face on the toe. Every once in a while an EvilBay seller named gerryzoo (I think) get's 'em. If you can get one of those go for it, I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.
