Onoff CB-358

I'm looking at Onoff CB-358. Like the less offset and the thick top line induce confidence. Anyone who is playing with this gem? Feedbacks are welcomed about where is best to buy them.

I have no personal knowledge of the CB-358 but I just purchased a set of the ONOFF Kuro and they are the best feeling most forgiving irons I have owned. I purchased them from Tour Spec Golf and had them custom built to my specs. 4-PW with Nippon Modus 3 Tour 120S 1/4 over standard. D3.

I suggest you go to Rakuten and find the best price for what you want and then message Chris at TSG and see what he can do and ask if he can work with you.

I have 3 sets of Onoff, the 2013s, the 358s, and recently, the Kuros. All of these iron sets are nothing short of outstanding, and are point and shoot. You won't be disappointed.

That's NOT True at all..... Blanket statements like that are inaccurate.

I contacted Chris at TSG and he actually was slightly cheaper and from the day I placed my custom order my Irons were
delivered in 11 days from Labo Spec . All the stars must have been aligned but from Japan to MD USA that fast on a custom order
is crazy fast service.

I suggest you email TourSpec Golf after you get your best price. Good Luck.

Um, i respectfully disagree. I have been at this for quite a few yrs, my friend contacted chris for best price on some items, rakuten was tons better pricing. I guess the few memebers from tsg i have known are lying to me on there experiences?? Ever think, tsg offers all these grrat offerings because they are exclusive stuff..seven, a grind, modart..why dont u tell all the memebers who took a bath on buying and selling modart the great deal they got. Read the post by craig on tsg...he says his underwear has better re sale value then modarts..modarts are exclusive to tsg just about.

You are a self proclaimed know it all a'rent you? I posted 1st hand experience and you spout off at the mouth and I guess are calling me a liar. You give examples of what people told you and that's second hand. Let the OP decide rather than you mouth off about something you have zero 1st hand experience with.... If TSG won't match a price than all the OP did is explore other options.

I passed on dealing with Rakuten because I wasn't comfortable with the check- out process and the language barrier. That was my choice and no way reflects badly on them.

Rambling about other brands and your personal feelings on Tour Spec Golf is not my experience.

I'd like to add something purely just on this part of the post. When you spend a large sum of money, specifically if you require custom work done, it's more than intimidating ordering a set of clubs from the other side of the marble and them speaking a whole other language. It's nice to have that umbrella of ordering from a shop such as tsg. As far as the rest of the argument goes, it's all hearsay. I ordered a set from Rakuten because the clubs I desired had the shafts I desired, without a significant upcharge. But, I am still skeptical as their authenticity whereas I wouldn't have this skepticism if I had ordered from tsg. My .02. I'll know more when they arrive. I was never given a tracking number from rakuten.

Im not sure on pricing but Chris is usually pretty competitive when it comes to pricing.......and the Modart brand is not exclusive to TSG but i think Seven is....Haha and Craigs underwear are worth more than my entire collection !!!!

* On a side note, M0darts are extremely pricey and the resale on them is horrible, but most super pricey items are.....i know of a set of Marumans that cost close to 100k, I'm sure the resale on that is horrible too.....the only thing i bought brand new that didn't lose too much money was the Epon 302s in copper finish ! : )

I've seen them in Thailand at Art of Golf, that place is pretty nice and are authorized Epon and Modart and Waccine and Scotty Cameron Museum/tour dealer.

I've never seen them in the USA, i believe it may be a JDM brand

Modart is a jdm brand, but epon/miura/fourten/on off etc are avail in usa. People who have owned Modart and sold it have taken a bath on the re sale...because there is noithing about them that makes them worth the high price..obviously

lots of things out there are pricey and do not do anything special.....these niche boutiques sometimes find a following and sometimes they don't....i have a friend who has an all Modart bag, as well as the 7 dreamers shafts..... ill see what the hoopla is tmrw ! I play some pretty pricey items myself and i absolutely know they don't do anything special......but i do like spending cash on my favorite hobby !!! (I've got a carbon fiber race bike that is decked out in high end components and i can't out pedal a fat kid on a Huffy ! )

I can see why people would pay the price for Modart. There's something special about many clubs...and Modart is no exception (regardless of it's resale value). Some may see it, others may not. I personally love playing something I'm not likely to see in anyone's bag and I have no problem paying extra for that. Do these clubs make me a better player? If you admit that any amount of this game that we love is mental, then hell yes it makes me better.

So much for the Onoff conversation... :-/
