757 vs. Blueboard 63

Does anyone have a profile on these?
I picked up a 510TP with a "real" Speeder 757 stiff. I love the control it provides. I've hit 19/26 fairways in the two rounds I've played it. But because it launches pretty low and I have a fairly smooth transition I have given up a few yards. On paper the 757 specs don't seem to fit my swing very well but it seems to work OK.
I have a Blueboard 63 in my closet I could install with the idea that a higher launch may get back those yards. However, I'm loving 73% fairways and won't give that up for a few yards.
How much do you think the softer tip in the Diamana could effect control?

the Blueboard will definitely launch higher, but in my experience the 63 version will spin A LOT more than a 757...so much so that you'll probably lose a bit of distance. side spin will also increase therefore affecting your accuracy and control. of course, all this really is dependent on your swing speed and other impact factors (angle of attack, etc.).

good question.. fine line - stiffer heavier shaft and lighter more medium tip.. worht a try since oyu have the blue board.. leave it at 45 or shorter and see if the experiment works. if not you than know you need a heavier 70-75 gram shaft and a medium tip.. lets us know how it works out.

My gut says keep the Speeder.

I've Skycaddied a number of tee shots with a variety of drivers this spring and I did hit one 290 with the 510TP. I CAN rip it but around 260 seems to be what I get on a solid hit with benign conditions.

I would say that is 5-15 yards shorter than my Bridgestone with a V2 but a trade I think I'm willing to make.

The only time I think a bomb off the tee truly serves me is on a hole 440-525 yards. Anything shorter than that leaves me a 6 iron at most and anything longer is probably a 3 shot hole anyway.

260 and 73% of fairways is serviceable...for now. ;)
