Just got back from Dicks. Test hit the GBB Epic with the Hzrdous shaft for about 45 mins. 10.5 stock setting, weight in the middle back.

 

Wow.

 

You seriously will be doing yourself a disservice if you don't go try out this driver, and/or the subzero version. Just fantastic. I tried to purposely hit off the heel and toe and compared carry, spin and ball speed... Results were very very impressive. Nut to nut, virtually the same as my M1, maybe averaged a little less spin on the Epic.

 

Definitely going back for another session, swap some shafts around. Maybe they'll have a 3w for me to try too.

 

Got a 50% bonus on the trade in scratch off thingy too, so make sure you get that too when you go.

I'm having a difficult annual dilemma that I have never figured out how to resolve. I can't figure out which I want more: 1) to watch golf at Pebble Beach, or 2) to not watch Chris Berman.

We'll see. Round 2 scheduled for Sunday. It sure showed some serious promise in round 1, when I wasn't even hitting the ball well. Felt like I was crushing it during the garage session with 2MT as well.
