My parents live and belong to dominion valley. There was some course swap deal. So dad called and it was a drop everything and change plans kind of things.

Glad I was able to.

I think the deal was that they were going to build a Hotel/resort like Landsdowne, and that would be the way to play it. But then 2008 happened...

Look into it. I don't think it is expensive but more of a program that you get a free round after 3 or something like that.

I try to have one per kind of shot in hitting.. Don't want my mind to get too much in the way.

Driver and iron is pause at the top. Chipping is accelerate through. Putting is hit the ball solid.

Love me some creighton farms. Played 36 in one day a couple years back in a team match. I think my partner and I birdied the first five holes or something stupid like that. We won our team match, our ind. matches and crushed in the overall competition. It was a good day.

I can recall many of the holes, even now. A very memorable and beautiful course.

I think 1 for the back swing and 2 for the down swing for all full irons/wedges/woods

Don't duff it for chips

[/quote]I have a hard time recalling my state of mind over the ball. I've probably had different swing thoughts over the years, but generally, I just try to tell myself, "keep it short, and keep it still", meaning my backswing and my head, respectively. Both are correctives to what used to be bigger errors.

I know that with chipping and putting whenever I start getting tight, I just remind myself to be reactionary. I might take a long look at the hole or target, but then it's "back to the ball and go". No thoughts, just reaction.

My chipping issues over the winter and spring have been due to focusing too much on technique. My best shot is good enough. It's just a matter of putting my best swing on it, and the best way for me to do that is to just react. I'm trying to bring more of that feeling to full swing.

Also, no matter the shot, I try to keep a target in my head or a visual of the ball heading towards the target.

I'm trying not to have any or Abb is gonna smack me upside the head. I should probably also not read any responses to the question.

Back story? I think too much about my swing when I'm on the course. I need to learn how to just step up and go "Ball here, hole there, hit it over there". On my worst days I have a thought for my takeaway, a thought to finish the back swing, a though to start down, a thought to actually hit the ball, etc. Heck, I even had a swing thought for putting. I think I mentioned the putting thought once and Abb basically said "WTF are you doing?". So yeah, at PoS if anyone sees me talking to myself, you know why. I should probably get a extra spicy breakfast burrito to make sure my glutes are firing and some alcohol in my coffee to clear my head.

She had a 25 footer for bird on 18 to tie, but missed it.

Also, bring a bunch of your extra clubs so I can hit them on the range. We can have the Puppet/JT demo day!

That's awesome that she had a chance. She got real quick and skulled a chip in the 3rd round coming in on the last holes.
