I've never been truly 'loyal' to shafts the way I am with Titleist fit my clubs, but my favorite drivers/woods/hybrids the last few years have all had Aldila shafts. It was a hard lesson learned when I splurged on a Project X shaft upgrade for my 913D3, which turned it into an aerosol driver, since it goes all over the place. I would love to see what the thing could do with a proper shaft.

I've been playing for 3 years, and I'm only now (after a few years) appreciating the noticible and marked difference shafts make in the clubs I play. With this I've come to the realization that all shafts are not made equally. Throught my experiments thus far, I've found some gems like Diamana Ahina (910 head), and Speeder TS 6.2 (JPX 850 head). I would love to be blown away by the Aldilas! Through my research, I've come to hold to brand in high regard and its definitly on my list to try out at some point. Hopefully this will be my opportunity to do so.

Would love to test these options agains the made for Titleist Rogue options. I have the Rogue silver in stiff and Rogue Black in X flex. Both are great shafts in my 915 D2.
