I am getting too old now to wait for the"Holy Grail". I've used Aldilas NV, DVS, NVS (my fav.), the R.I.P. Red Eye.... These are all very good shafts, but I am really getting short on time (76 years young) . At one time, long ago, I could wait however long it took to find the "Grail"..(if it does exist), but I've lost too much distance over the years. I've dropped from a one-time distance high of around 260/265, down to 220/225. This may be the shaft to get me back some of that distance...maybe...just maybe.
I'd like the lightest available....if not 50, then 60, in a regular flex.

Being a relative noob, I've never even seen an $800 shaft in person. Wonder if it would really matter/make a difference/be noticeable to someone at the opposite end of the spectrum from tour guys.

I would love to test this shaft against my PROFORCE VTS Silver (Which I still like) to see if there is a chance to get out some extra yardage and consistency.

I would prefer the 50 TX, but if that one is gone when I win I would settle for the 60 TX...
