Use the SNKRS app. I had multiple windows opened right when Nike tweeted and they all failed. I opened my SNKRS app 3 minutes after the tweet and kept refreshing it until I saw the restock. Got the Chi 1's and Pinnacle this way. SNKRS app will always take priority over web browser.

Thanks.. I've pretty much done the same... I have 5-6 pair that I rotate for bball. I unloaded a bunch on eBay recently.

The 5's and 6's are by far the best of the bunch..

I'll say Kobe 6's are the best, 8 than the 1's. My personal favorites. I have the prelude 1's. So clean.

I know, they want to sell more through the app. I was driving and opened the browser via twitter, and didn't want to lose my spot in line.

If I was home, would have used my iPad to get it. There's always a next time, always going to be a restock.

After a restock I usually don't see them again unless there's a lot of cancellations or returns.

I really wanted the Prelude 5's.. my fave by far from that pack. no luck.

I haven't found a shoe that compares to the 5 or the 6 on the bball court. I've tried the Kyrie1's... they're not too bad..

I am a longtime sneaker person, but moved on when buying and selling clubs became more interesting. Now that golf is done for the season and I have lost some interest in clubs, I have started looking back at sneakers for something to collect, or to look at. How do you decide what to collect? Are you collecting for future resale or are you looking to just fill up your closet? I get the Jordan's but due to my age I am only interested in a few Jordan's (1, 3, 4, 5). I have owned almost all up till the 11's and their rerelease don't interest me. I like certain colorways but for the most part..eh. I like the Kobe low and KD Low, but other than that not interested in anything else. What are your thoughts about other companies like Adidas ( Not Yeezy), Asics, New Balance, etc. Thoughts about the small boutique releases? Ill only buy what I am going to wear.

Same here, I still have shoes to collect, but that's not a lot anymore compared to before. I keep them in a storage unit, where temperature is maintained.


I wear all my shoes as well. Best thing about Jordan's is the value of never decreases (if you keep them in good condition). Guarantee I can sell my 2012 Bred XI for $40-$60 more than what I paid for it, and I wore it a handful of times, not crazy creasing, but shows sign of wear on the upper.

As for Jordan's, I own at least one OG color from 1 to 14, shoes he only played in as a Chicago Bull. 14 being only the "last shot", since retired after that. Also buy Jordan's for nostalgic reasons. In 1998, I was in 8th grade, owned (thanks to my mom) Flint 13 and Chutney low's. Now as an adult, I can go buy then and think to myself "man, I had these shoes when I was in this grade, etc". Good memories, but they need to release Chutney 13 low's.

I love all sneakers brands, don't matter what they are. If they look good, I want them. Yesterday, picked up the CP3 13 PE's and the CNCPTS x Asics "mix and match" GL-V. Best concepts collab's are the NB 997 x cncpts.

Rose gold and luxury goods are one of my favorite shoes I own, made in the USA with quality materials.

I just bought a pair of the Dub Nation colorway. Im not too much of a collector since I like to wear the shoes I own and I bought the Curry Two's because I heard they perform pretty well on the court. I plan on using them in rec league sometime next month but one of the things I worries me is the ankle support doesn't seem that great compared to the hyperdunks and CP3 VII's I used to wear. I have pretty weak ankles to begin with... I may need to get some ankle braces just to be safe.

I haven't played with Curry 2, but the 1s are my current indoor basketball shoes. I like the 1s because have great ankle support, real firm.

If talking about shoes releasing the day of, I try my luck on Nike.

All other sites like eastbay, champs, finish line, foot locker have archaic servers. Very low on getting anything from them.

That's where I pretty much buy sneakers from.

I always check kicks deals since they have, well, deals on the daily.
