I was in Japan last week and Bo Mee Lee was featured a lot on the morning news/variety tv shows. She seems to be very popular, no doubt helped by the fact that she speaks very good Japanese. Bo Mee is definitely bridging the gap between South Korea and Japan.

I'll say. It's not like I'm avoiding the LPGA. I watched every round of every televised tournament this year. With the Solheim Cup, I believe that was 31 tournaments. While the LPGA "fashionistas" aren't anywhere near the caliber of the KLPGA players, there were still a decent number of nice outfits. However, the media coverage is dreadful. Where the KLPGA has 2 or 3 major outlets covering the tournaments, the photos from the LPGA are basically non-existent. The handful of photos one does find are generally shot from the waist up. 'Not good if you want to highlight the skort, socks, shoes, etc. 'Very frustrating.

I completely agree the LPGA coverage is abysmal. Why they can't they get a commissioner who can broker some better coverage for them is ridiculous.

By "media coverage" I'm referring to on-course photographers. TV coverage aside, there's no reason they can't have a few freelancers walking the course taking pics. The LPGA website has a handful of photos each week at most. Meh.
