Srixon AD333 or Soft Feel

Wal-Mart has these both at $20 a dozen. I normally play the WIlson Duo and Chrome Soft. Which Srixon ball fits into this category? Thanks.

Not sure on the specs completely, but if both are the same price I'd go for the AD330. This is probably one of the BEST budget golf balls I've ever played (non-urethane ball for ~$20 or less). It's a great all around ball (distance, feel, short game). It's no tour ball by any means, but it blows away other balls in the same price range.

Another for the AD333, as mentioned before, it's just a solid ball all through the game. Probably the best bang for you buck of any ball.

AD333 still on sale in Europe. Srixon have a bad habit of offering different product in different territories. The AD333 is probably the best selling ball in Europe so there could be a backlash.

Srixon rebadged the AD333 as the QStar for North America. The AD333 still exists everywhere else.

The Ad333 can still be bought at Wal-Mart here in the U.S. $19,99 I believe. Box even looks updated slightly from older years.

Could be excess inventory from other markets that they are unloading on Walmart at a low price.

I tried the ad333 and absolutely hated it! I lost distance from my previous ball (PD Long)it felt really hard off my irons and putter, and offered me no more control round the greens than the PD Long. Then I tried the Z Star SL and love it - feels good off every club and offers a bit more spin. Each to his own though!

The AD333 felt like a marshmallow, way too soft. The best budget ball is the Treosoft or Fixx from Bridgestone.

Both great 2 piece balls. Very similar. Extreme durability. Previous poster is correct ad333 is same as Q Star.

The last two gen Q Stars have the "spin skin" coating. aD333 does not.

The 1st gen QStar was before spin skin had been introduced. The only difference between the 1st gen QStar and the AD333 of the time was the dimple design (324 on the QStar and 333 on the AD333). The 2nd gen QStar (current generation) and the current AD333 (4th or 5th generation?) both have spin skin and are identical (344 dimple design). Not sure which generation AD333 the OP was referring to.

anyone else not like that spin skin stuff? One shot with a wedge and the skin starts peeling off like cellophane.
