PGA National - Any way to play it without staying at the resort?

I am going to be down in Palm Beach Gardens for a weekend in mid July. Does anybody know a way to get on to PGA National and play it without staying at the resort or knowing a member? I actually own a house inside PGA National but home ownership doesn't mean squat when it comes to the resort.

 

I thought I read previously there was a summer pass I could buy that gives me the option of playing PGA at least once. Would prefer the champ course, but at this point i'd take any of the courses as I would like to stay close to the house. I have already played most of the other courses in the area and know there are great deals out there. I am bringing a guest with me and I figured the summer would be a great chance to get on the champ course if it's a possibility. Thanks in advance.

^^^ That's your best bet. They just added PGA Nat a month or so ago. I don't think the Champ course is on there though.

If you volunteer at the Honda you get two passes to play the Champ for $25 with cart.

If you buy weekly passes to Honda you get a coupon to play Champ. Last time I did it I only paid $45 cart fee even though ticket said $50 surcharge on top :dntknw:

I am going to be in West Palm Beach immediately following the Honda Classic in February (2017) and would love to buy one of those coupons to play the Champions course of someone.

 

Any idea how I might do that or updated advice on playing the Champion course without staying at the resort?

Going on fam vaca possibly around here and would love to play this course. Going end of March-ish. Any way to play around that time without staying there? Looks like the golf pass is only valid starting May 1st.

Have your club's PGA Pro call the PGA National pro shop. I scored a tee time with no extra fees, but my Pro had to set up the tee time. I think it cost me $90 to play the Champion course, including cart and range balls.

If I join the ClubCorp club up in NY, they claim I can play PGA National twice a month as part of their reciprocals. Is this true and is it true for winter (season) play?

My friends are Club Corp members thru the Hamlet. When they come visit we play at PGA. Not necessarily the Champ course, its up to the club what’s available. Also played with them at Monarch. That was nice.

Yes. If i remember right, the Champions course is Monday through Thursday only. And when they say twice a month, they really mean 2 times in a 30 day period.
