Hyperflex or Biom Hybrid2

I do not live close to any big stores with much shoe selection, always been a FJ guy, wear 7.5 XW in most.

 

I can get the hyperflex or the Biom hybrid2 for $159 shipped, and think free returns on both, so may order both.

 

Any chance I can fit in Bioms if I wear an XW in FJ?

 

Do the Hyperflex run normal sizing for FJ?

 

Anyone have both?

Hyperflex runs a half size bigger than nike. I find ecco to be true to size.

seems right. I wear 8 wide in Nike, 7.5 XW in FJ.

I am curious if there is any chance the Ecco's will have enough room in the toe box.

Also, is the Biom full waterproof like the FJ? I play early most of the time, can be quite damp.

I went Hyperflex, have a free return if need be. Sizes seem to be dwindling fast on these. I trust the fit more, been wearing FJ's for a long time.

I got these in today and the fit is nice. They are a touch longer than my Sport's, but the width is perfect and the heel section feels more snug in the XW, than the Sport's.

I like that there is minimal blue in them, they are pretty much white/gray and can be worn with most any pants. They are way lighter than the Sport's, but have a bit more to them than the M Project's.

I have not played in them yet, but will be wearing them next time out. I am happy with my purchase so far.

i had a cleat problem with one pair of my M project shoes and sent them in to Footjoy.
the M project has been discontinued and for a $40 upcharge they replaced them with the Hyperflex.
played 3 rounds in them and so far am very pleased. i got the same size as my M projects and they were a little tight in the width at first but now feel fine. Very stable shoe with great support.

You have any comparisons of the Hyperflex v. the DNA, specifically with respect to sizing. I always picked up footjoys on the smaller side because (1) I find them to run big and (2) the leather stretches. I wear a 10.5 in the DNA and find it fits great. In the hyperflex, I tried 10.5 in the store and it was fine in the toe box but tight from a width perspective. Was thinking of looking at a wider size, but if it stretches at all, I think the normal width 10.5 will fit best.

Never tried DNA's, but have worn FJ Sport Spikeless for 3 years, and have a pair of M Projects. The Hyperflex are more narrow than M Project, close to FJ Sport.

I would think 10.5W would be perfect.

I found they don't make the black in 7.5XW, am bummed. I am not sure the 7.5W will work.
