Getting to old spec web pages

I know there are a lot of very computer smart people here and often I need to find specs on an older club. For example I want to find the specs on an old R7 iron (www.taylormadegolf.com/product-specs.html). I know what the url is and everytime I put in the command line or click on the link, I immediately get redirected to the current TM website.

 

Someone here must know what I need to do to make sure I don't get redirected. I've tried searching for this on the net, but nothing related comes up and it is likely crazy simple, but I just don't know it.

 

I likely could have posted this elsewhere, but it is tech related so this should be as good as anywhere.

What about using way back machine? If you know approximate year and month, you can find it that way.

I can't find Mr. Peabody's tech specs on how to make the machine. I think Boris has them.

I just did a Google search for Taylormade r7 iron specs and was able to get to it. It returned a result titled "product specs - taylormade golf. The page I followed didn't have the www. in the address

What browser and did you actually go to the R7 spec page?

Thanks but posting a pdf doesn't really help me resolve the issue.

I appreciate the clubspec site and I will use it but if anyone has the trick to forcing your browser to go to a specific site without allowing a redirect, I would appreciate it.

Worked fine for me with Firefox - what browser were you using?

I've never heard of any browser settings that can control the redirect behavior.

I've used Firefox, Safari and Chrome. It immediately redirects me to the TaylorMade.ca site. Not sure if it is a Canadian thing or there is something I need to delete from the browsers (cookies or ??).

I can't even get to the USA Taylormade page.

All right. So getting to the USA TM site is as simple as scrolling down to the bottom and selecting the USA. That solved that. So they are redirecting me because of where I am. Another case of A.I. taking over.

A co-worker showed me the [url="http://archive.org/web/"]wayback machine site[/url] which got me to the TM old product spec site. I should have paid more attention to what ebk was pointing me to in post #2, but I thought he was referencing Rocky and Bullwinkle.
