heading here for a convention in november. courses look so so online and it would take a lot of logistical effort to make it in early to play. has anyone played either the resort or country club course or have any knowledge on if these are worth a play?

 

The resort course looks expensive and extremely short (that usually means ultra-tight and unenjoyable -- to me at least).

I've played the Resort course many times as we used to stay at the hotel. Very nice, not tight at all - wayward shots often get nice redirected roll, typical of resort golf. Very enjoyable rounds there. Probably not worth the $225 they currently charge but really the only game in town. Friend of mine is a member there, and is not happy about recent conditions and maintenance. Forget the Country Club. Only played there once.
