Fuji Speeder Evolution II 665 TS

So does anyone have the definitive news on this shaft? Is it a made for Callaway shaft and not a real deal Fuji? I've read the threads about "made for" but didn't see anything specific to this shaft. Seems to be the "stock" shaft in the Great Big Bertha for 2016. It's not listed on the Fuji site and the graphics look the same except for the fact that ones on the site say "Tour Spec" next to the shaft flex and this one says "TS". And it's made in China (or assembled?) and not Japan.

So what's the deal???

As of right now, I think it is only made for Callaway.

Spoke to Fuji a while back and they said it's real deal. I had this in my DBD 816 for a few weeks while I was getting my shafts worked on. I was pretty impressed.

Just out of curiosity do you remember which flex you played? Swing speed, carry, etc? Was launch low, mid? Just not much info out there on this particular shaft.

X. I usually play heavier shafts. I hit everything high. So I may not be the best to evaluate it. But I do like Fuji shafts and liked this. I'd say this plays like a slightly higher launching, higher spin 757. Maybe 8-10 grams lighter. Not as tip stiff. SS around 115.

I cpm'd it a few weeks agi and it was softer than my 757 evo1 but different heads and build so not apples to apples. I don't remember the numbers.

Dunno if it's made for or not. I suspect so since the evo2 is a different color and follows the 661/757 model numbers.

I think it's probably a made for shaft for Callaway. I got fit into one in my 816 DBD and like it a lot. I came from a Rogue 110 70 X and this is a lot smoother. Good ball flight and in combo with the DBD head it's incredibly low spin.

I used to care about shafts being a made for or not, but i don't care anymore. If it works and I hit it good I don't care.
