Fairway wood suggestion

I'm a 60 year old 10 handicap that struggles getting fairway woods airborne. 10/12' in the air is high for me,swing speed 95. My current weapon is a ping g25 4 wood. Because of my problem I usually just grab my 20* utility ( which I also hit pretty love). Yes I tend to sweep the ball, not hit down on it.

I tried an Adams tight lies indoors and that seemed to help a bunch. Any suggestions which of Adams many options I should try.

I am pretty much in the same boat; just 7 years older than you. I also play the G25 4-wood but am inconsistent off the turf so typically grab my 19* Rescue Mid. I can't reach Par 5s so but still love to try.

I just bought the Adams Blue 16* which should arrive any day. It's cheap so no great loss if it doesn't work out. It has good reviews and a soft tip. I tried the Adams Tight Lies with the Bassara but it goes straight up in the air without run out.

Adams Tight lies is a good high launch option. I'd also recommend you look at the Tour Edge Trilogy (or X-rail) 4-wood.

I have hit the Callaway V-series 3w on several occasions and find it to be the easiest to launch of any fw Ive tried. 3w is 15.5* and stock shaft is a 52g Bassara (same as the tight lies).

I too am in my 60's playing off 12 with a SS in mid 90's. I used an old Callaway 3 and 5 wood with RCH96 firm shaft. I could hit both really well of the tee but struggled to get it up in the air from the fairway. By chance I picked up a used 3 wood with an Aldila NV 75-S shaft and the problem disappeared. It with a similar 5 woods has gone straight into my bag pushing out the Callaways. I think the tip on the NV may be a little softer

I'm one of those golfers who has always struggled with hitting fairway woods with any consistency. I recently bought a Tight Lies 2 3 wood and really like the results.
